Blessed
My father turns 66 today. I don’t call him “father” anymore. I don’t think of him as my father anymore. I haven’t had a father for decades now. But I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. Not that I’m aware of. Am I wrong for not feeling bad about that? I’m blessed that my mother was the best parent I could ever have had.
